Open Day for Waterberg Meander community-linked projects
The Waterberg Biosphere Reserve arranged an open day to create familiarise lodge owners in the Waterberg with the wonderful community-linked projects along the Waterberg Meander Route

- Beadle leather and beaded products
- Lehlabile Cultural Tours
- Pedi Potters
- Telekishi Cultural Village
The day was rounded-off with a talk by Clive Walker on the history of the area and culminated in an amazing guided walk along the escarpment.
"There was a great turnout and we all had a wonderful day," says Dr Rupert Baber, chairperson of the WBR. The communities enjoyed the positive feedback and encouragement. Particularly feedback from those linked to the large and growing community at Lephahale associated with the development of the Waterberg Coal Field who are looking for recreational activities in the neighborhood."
